A-Level化學(xué)同A-Level數(shù)學(xué)、物理一樣是所有大學(xué)理工科招生最重要的參考成績(jī)之一。

跟國(guó)內(nèi)高中和其他國(guó)際課程銜接緊密，學(xué)生原有的知識(shí)體系能夠進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)化。但是它在知識(shí)的廣度和深度上會(huì)更勝一籌，涉及很多國(guó)內(nèi)大學(xué)才會(huì)涉及到的有機(jī)反應(yīng)機(jī)理和儀器分析知識(shí)。

另外，它也很注重實(shí)驗(yàn)部分，雖然涉及到實(shí)驗(yàn)操作并不復(fù)雜，但是涵蓋的實(shí)驗(yàn)內(nèi)容和實(shí)驗(yàn)給到的信息量卻是巨大的。

國(guó)際版ALevel化學(xué)一共分為6個(gè)單元，AS階段完成第一、二、三單元，A2完成第四、五、六單元。

ALevel需要完成全部6個(gè)單元。

其中第3和6單元是實(shí)驗(yàn)單元（筆試）。
